P7 Rainforest Topic
Primary 7 have been working hard to create an Amazon Rainforest display .

P4/5 were learning about some more significant Scots today, we did some iPad research on Scottish politicians and the Scottish referendum. Can you guess which politicians these are from our line drawings?!
Times Tables consolidation
P4/5 have been working hard to learn their times tables. Today we played some games to test our knowledge!
Sunflowers by P2/3
We we have been learning about the life of Vincent Van Gogh. We really enjoyed creating our own version of the famous Sunflowers picture using oil pastels. Some of the children used oil pastels for the first time and they did very well.
Scotland’s Next Top Inventor
Here are our fantastic inventors from P4/5. We had some innovative designs but the winning inventions were inside out football boots and a cross trainer that powers the TV! Well done to you all! When you are rich and famous just remember who your teacher was! 😃
P4/5 Poets
We have been looking at poetry this week in literacy. We have learned about the different features of poetry and tried to use some of them when writing our own poems.
We used repetition when writing about what was in the ‘Magic Purse’ and we used metaphors and similes to create poems about emotions.
Next week we will look at onomatopoeia and alliteration!
P1’s Awesome Art!
After learning about the forces of pushing and pulling, P1 dipped some moving toys in paint and pushed them along some paper to make some pretty creative art.
Nursery Mini-Movers Class of 2017
The AM nursery children had a great time showing of their “Mini Moves’ at their mini movers celebration morning. Children learned all about nutrition and keeping our bodies fit and healthy.
