P4/5 used their mental maths skills to help them carry out their Spelling this morning! It definetely woke some people up! We had to add up the value of the letters on the telephone keypad of our spelling words. We used some of our learn its in big maths to help us!

Today P4/5 planted peas and lettuce in the garden. We worked hard to prepare the ground then sprinkle our seeds!

P4/5 had great fun trying out some of the new playground equipment today. We can’t wait to use it all soon!

These children completed fantastic biographies on current famous Scots for their topic homework. They presented them confidently to the class yesterday and Mrs.Fisher was very impressed! We found out some interesting facts about Billy Connolly, Calvin Harris, Sir Jackie Stewart and Sir Alex Ferguson to name a few!

Some of us wanted to find out more about things that float on the water, so we did some investigating.

We found out that a plastic cups, pencils, counting cubes, wooden sticks and lemon float in water.

We also found out that limes, pennies,cotton wool, crayons and elastic bands will sink.

We had great fun doing our active spelling tasks this morning. One group did Secret Agent Spelling and the other did their Graffiti Walls using our Scots language spelling words!
