Our current P1’s, new P1’s and P6 buddies had a lovely play together. They took the time to get to know one another and explore all the play opportunities available at play and lunch time. Everyone is looking forward to August.
P2 have been learning to copy, continue and describe simple patterns. They also used a variety of media to create their own patterns.
What a day!
We had a fabulous morning with the inspirational artist, Steven Brown! The children were a credit to the school and loved every minute! Huge thank you to Steven for taking time out of his busy schedule!
P4 Bird Brains!
P4 worked hard on a collaborative art display and created this wonderful proud peacock! They looked closely at photographs of peacocks and observed details to include in their own feathers. Doesn’t Mr Peacock look great!
Beat the Street
Fobs to collect points were issued to all children today. They are all ready registered to our school. Parents wishing to collect points (which we would appreciate) need to register their cards to our school.

Preparations are in full swing!
P4/5 are preparing for a very special visit next week from a famous Scottish artist! Steven Brown will be dropping in to speak to the children after hearing about their wonderful McCoo creations! We can’t wait!!
Native American Research
P4/5 have started their new Interdisciplinary topic, Native Americans! Today we researched what life was like for Native Americans. We even had fun learning what our Indian names would be!
This creative P5 had built a wigwam at home with his family and very kindly brought it in for us to see! Thank you!
Our Forest School
Another successful session at our forest kindergarten. Our nursery children continue to enjoy learning outdoors.
Easter Winners
Many thanks to everyone that attended our Easter service. Our choir sang out and should be proud of their commitment to attending practice sessions during lunch time. Well done to all children that presented and to Zac and Jessica who worked hard to lead our service.
Outdoor Learning Fun
The planting season has begun! P2/3 prepared the ground and planted kale and turnip. Some of our nursery AM children sowed carrot seeds.
