I have attached an addition game where your child can consolidate their learning in this area.
Busy Bees
Today p1a were listening for information to find out about what a honey bee looks like. They found out that their bodies are divided into 3 parts, they have 4 wings, 5 eyes and 6 legs. The children then used their knowledge to draw some accurate looking bee pictures.

P1a Pupil of the week!
Congratulations to this week’s pupil of the week. This child received the award for excellent behaviour and for being extremely kind and helpful. I hope Barney Bear has a great weekend! 
Christmas Party!
Primary one had a great time at their Christmas party today! I’m sure you’d agree that they all look lovely with their happy smiles and party clothes!
P1a 3D Objects
Today P1a explored a variety of 3D shapes.
Primary 1 ‘Road the Bethlehem’
On Wednesday Primary 1 visited Moodiesburn Church for a super event called ‘Road to Bethlehem’. The children learned all about the Christmas Story through crafts, singing and story telling. Thanks to Mark and all the helpers who organised such a magical event for the children. We all loved it!
P1a Independent Addition Work
P1a have had lots of opportunities to learn to add through play. Today I was delighted to see that the children were able to apply their skills to copy and complete some addition question on their own!
