What a productive afternoon at the after school dance club. You danced your socks off!
Have a look at some of our gymnastics skills! We explored different rotations, balances and flight movements today. We especially liked using the box!
Today we had a visit from Olympic boxer, Charlie Flynn. All children took part in circuit training and listened well during a motivational assembly. Look at them go!
Knots and crosses fun in PE this week. We used this fun game as part of our warm up. We had to work together as a team to sprint to the hoops and place a coloured marker in a circle, we kept going until we had 3 in a row. Class participated really well and we challenged ourselves by adding in a few sit ups and burpees before we ran to the hoops.
Here are some pictures from our first HIIT Session. We were exhausted but feeling accomplished by the end!

Primary 5 enjoyed reinacting the lifeboat scenes from The Titanic. We used a freeze frame approach to show the improvisation. The class performed really well and had a great time.
In PE we took advantage of the sunshine and continued to develop our skills in possession games.
P4/5 had a good day at sports day today, even the rain didn’t dampen our spirits!
