Just a reminder that school photos take place tomorrow, 29th Sep!
Mrs Chalmers will send out a text in the morning to let parents know when the photographer is at the school for those who have older or younger siblings and wish a photo.
I’m sure you will all look very smart in your full school uniform.
Don’t forget, our first open day takes place this Friday morning. Parents should enter through the main reception, where you will be directed to the hall to sign in.
Tea and coffee will be available from just after 9am and the open event will begin at approximately 9:30am.
We look forward to welcoming you and hope to see you there.
We had a lovely morning showcasing all of our learning to our parents/ carers. Many thanks to everyone that attended and thank you for continuing to support our school in making it the very best it can be.
We were delighted with the amount of parents that came along to support our open event. The children very much enjoyed having parents, carers and extended family members working alongside them in class. Many thanks to everyone who attended and took the time to return our feedback forms. Your suggestions continue to help us further develop our school.
A great day was had by all at our annual Christmas Fayre with over £2,500 being raised!!!
Many thanks to our P7 Enterprise Elves, parent/ carer donations and everyone who volunteered on Saturday. It was lovely to see our dedicated staff and their families out in force. Great community spirit.

Parents, carers and friends of Glenmanor,
We are looking for photos of relatives who you would like to be remembered for their contributions to the wars of the past in our memorial service this year. If you have any photos of these friends or relatives, please ask your child to pass them to Miss O’Neill or simply drop the photo into the school office with your name and number attached so we can take a copy and return the original to you. Their pictures and any facts about them will be included in a Powerpoint presentation during our Remembrance Day assembly. Thanks in advance, Miss O’Neill.
Many thanks to all parents/ carers, friends and family members that attended our first open event of the session. A great opportunity for parents/ carers to learn alongside the children. Record breaking numbers in attendance. We are all ready making plans for our next open event on February 24 2017!
Glenmanor Primary held a very successful open morning. Parents and carers joined the children in their classes and helped them to design a Christmas Card.
School trips and dinner money are able to be paid via our cashless system. If you need to access the system but can not remember your log in number please contact the school office.
