Glenmanor Nursery Get Busy in the Forest!
The pre-school boys and girls from the Butterfly Group and some of the afternoon Bumblebee and Ladybird Groups enjoyed a visit to the forest. They had a great time building a den in the forest and they enjoyed some snack and a story. They saw lots of wildlife including a big buzzard and some giant tree snails! They are looking forward to visiting the forest again soon. Thank you to all the parents and carers who helped us on our forest trip.
Glenmanor Forest School
An information session was held for nursery parents on September 23rd. Parents had the opportunity to find out about the learning experiences that can be provided when the children visit the forest. Parents were then invited to accompany their child on a walk to the site of our forest school and to assess the suitability of the forest environment. The feedback from parents was very positive and we look forward to beginning our forest school sessions with our pre-school children very soon.
Challenge Table
We have introduced a Challenge Table in the nursery. Every week there is a new challenge that the boys and girls can come and try. This week they had to match colours and shapes. Everyone has really enjoyed having a go!
Well done boys and girls!
