The boys and girls in the nursery were very excited to discover how much fun the gigantic parachute was on a very windy day. Some of the children thought they were going on a trip to the clouds !!

Here are the next group of children enjoying cooking soup in the kitchen!
A group of children made a pot of fabulous soup in the learning kitchen this afternoon using the vegetables from our school garden. It was a great success and the rest of the class can’t wait to have a go at making it tomorrow!
The boys and girls in the nursery have been spending time being active outdoors in the lovely sunshine . They are all making a great effort to follow the Golden Rules to share and take turns .
Primary 4 enjoyed experimenting with different quantities of the beetroot, carrots, kale, runner beans and radish seeds that we harvested from the garden yesterday and added water to make healthy energy smoothies in class. We had fun tasting the different flavours! Next time we think we’ll add honey to make them more palatable! 😀
The boys and girls went into the community garden today to see what has been growing in the vegetable patches. They were amazed by how many different things had grown over the summer! We tasted some fresh peas, apples and runner beans and plan to make a Nutriblast Smoothie tomorrow with vegetables from the garden. Stay tuned to see if our recipe is successful!
Primay 5 took part in their own Euro 2016 football tournament in PE today. The boys had a French, Welsh and English team competing in the tournament. Whilst the girls had a Welsh, Italian and French team taking part. All players showed some impressive skills and were all very competitive!
Today all children did a great job at sports day, particularly in the bean bag race! 🏃🏽
They also made some seed packets and filled them with bee friendly flower seeds. They used the remainder of the seeds in the playground planters (after weeding them of course). 🐝🌸
We are all looking forward to sports day next week. Fingers crossed the sun shines! Sports day will take place on Wednesday 1 June (weather permitting).
