P4 EMOTION ARTWORK
In Primary 4, we are learning about emotions. We learned about the variety of emotions that can be experienced and that our emotions not only affect us, but also those around us. We created some related artwork.
Garden Committee
Inspired by artist Andy Goldsworthy, our Garden Committee created this beautiful picture using materials found in our gardens. This work of art was created using leaves, crab apples, small branches, pebbles and netting.
Fantastic Painters !
The boys and girls in the nursery have been so busy , at the creative table making fantastic woodland paintings with Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf ! The children were expressing their thoughts and feelings about the furry character from the story. The fantastic pictures are now displayed in the nursery cloakroom for everyone to see ! Well done boys and girls !!
Barney’s Birthday Bash! 🎉🎁
Today P1 helped prepare for Barney Bear’s birthday party by wrapping presents, practising party games, making decorations, cards and part food.

P4 Egyptian Art Afternoon
Primary 4 have been busy using the mediums of colour, line and tone to create effective Ancient Egyptian style artwork. The boys and girls used clay to create cartouches and they used oil pastels to make lovely Egyptian sunset silhouettes. P4 also had a go at creating their own ‘Tomb Wall Royalty’ with a side facing Egyptian; don’t they look great!
Singing And Drama !
The boys and girls in the nursery had lots of fun this week , acting out the parts of “Incy Wincy Spider” and “Little Miss Muffet”. They did really well doing the actions and singing the nursery rhymes. Everyone was eager to participate and carry out the correct actions.

Making Incy Wincy Handprints !
This week the boys and girls in the nursery have been listening to a range of nursery rhymes . Whilst spending time at the creative table they have had lots of fun using their handprints to make wonderful Incy Wincy spiders. The children are making really good attempts to recite this rhyme on their own . Fantastic !!
