Burns Supper in P4/5!

We have been learning all about Scotland and famous Scots, so today we had our very own Burns Supper! We made, from scratch, Haggis, neeps and tatties. The children did a fantastic job peeling and cutting the vegetables and thoroughly enjoyed their haggis, washed down with a glass of Irn Bru.

Scottish Dancing

P4/5 and P5/6 have been working hard to learn some famous Scottish ceilidh dances. We completed our block of dance this morning by doing a Dashing White Sergeant. There were lots of red faces and sore arms after it. What an ideal way to celebrate our national poet, Robert Burns.

Children In Need

A huge thank you and well done to the very generous children of Glenmanor! We made a whopping £676 for children in need today! Thank you for all of your kind and generous donations!

A big well done to the Pupil Council and Enterprise Leadership Group who did a brilliant job selling the toys and organising the whole day!

Pudsey is all set!

The pupil council and enterprise committee did a fantastic job getting ready for Children In Need tomorrow!

Phases of the moon

As part of our Space topic, P4/5 were learning about the different phases of the moon. We watched a video, carried out some research and even played a game using Oreo biscuits. The boys and girls will be keeping their eyes peeled  to see which phase of the moon is in the sky tonight!
