P4/5 – Venn Diagrams
We used our knowledge of popular toys in the 80s and compared them to popular toys now. We created Venn diagrams to show the similarities and differences.
P4/5 Number Challenge
P4/5 have been looking at place value this week. As a challenge the children were given 4 single digits and asked to make as many different numbers as they could in one minute. The winners made 30 different numbers using their knowledge of thousands, hundreds, tens and units.
How many different numbers can you make using the digits 1, 2, 3 and 4 at home? Ask someone to time you!
Toys from the 80s
P4/5 had great fun researching popular toys from the 1980s on our iPads. We also brought some toys in and played with them. We then used our knowledge to design posters about toys from the 80s!

Our work is incredible!
P4/5’s incredible work wall is filling up nicely. We have been reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl and we designed our own rooms in the factory! Well done to Callum, Max, Sophie, Mya, Elena, Amy and Cara whose wonderful work is up on our wall!
P4/5 are going back to the 80s!
P4/5 are learning about the 80s as part of our Decades concert. We have been busy researching significant events from the 80s using our iPads and creating timelines. We have all chosen a significant event and this week for our taught writing will create a fact file on the event.
