We had another busy day today! P4/5 started a media literacy topic! We learned about the elements of film and used these to take notes on the trailer for Cars 3!

P4/5 had fun today using a variety of foods to build some teepees! We worked in groups to plan and design our teepees that had to meet a design criteria! We had to adapt and change some of our designs!
Well done to the final P4/5 winners from our last race today!
As part of our Native American topic, today we planned and built 3D teepees. We had to work together in teams to meet a design challenge then pick from a variety of materials to build our teepees!
P4/5 had a good day at sports day today, even the rain didn’t dampen our spirits!
One of the Maths groups in P4/5 impressed Mrs.Fisher with their knowledge of equivalent fractions today! Did you know 1/2 is the same as 10/20 or 40/80! We do!
Thank you to all of the parents and Gran’s who came to help P4/5 with their numeracy today. The boys and girls loved showing you their Big Maths and designing fraction kites. A big thank you to all of you who had a go at the Beat That tests! 👏🏻
We’ve had a busy fun filled day in P4/5! From fraction hunts to teepees and beat the street, good fun was had by all!
We had lots of fun during shared PE this morning having a go at the long jump. We worked in teams and measured how far we could jump from a standing position. Our next steps are to try a run up before jumping then the triple jump!
We had fun in Edinburgh today with a trip to the dungeons followed by an afternoon in the National Museum of Scotland!
It was all too much for some!
