Primary 4 enjoyed another input from the football coach this afternoon! ⚽
We went out to the gardens to clear up some of the fallen leaves but before doing so, we made some fabulous creations!
Today we were lucky enough to have a football coach to teach us during gym time. Cammy the coach taught us some dribbling and shooting skills and we built upon our team-work skills from last term by taking part in a team football game.
In Primary 4, we are learning about emotions. We learned about the variety of emotions that can be experienced and that our emotions not only affect us, but also those around us. We created some related artwork.
We practised the spelling strategy of diacritical marking on the teacher whiteboard this morning.
Parents, carers and friends of Glenmanor,
We are looking for photos of relatives who you would like to be remembered for their contributions to the wars of the past in our memorial service this year. If you have any photos of these friends or relatives, please ask your child to pass them to Miss O’Neill or simply drop the photo into the school office with your name and number attached so we can take a copy and return the original to you. Their pictures and any facts about them will be included in a Powerpoint presentation during our Remembrance Day assembly. Thanks in advance, Miss O’Neill.

The boys and girls have been working co-operatively in groups to research different time periods during the Egyptian era to make fact files. They will then use these to create a chronological class timeline. (That means putting the events in time order!)
Primary 4 were hard at work this afternoon in the school gardens preparing them for the winter months. In their garden groups, the boys and girls weeded the vegetable patches, tidied and weeded the herb beds, collected litter and put rotten fruit from under the fruit trees to good use in the compost bin. Great work everyone!
Primary 4 were focusing on forming fact families and learning about the commutative aspect of addition and the inverse relationship between addition and subtraction.
Our four stations in maths include;
Meet the Teacher, At Your Seat, Technology and Hands On. We enjoy learning in different ways!
