Today we were lucky enough to welcome some visitors from the Science Centre into Glenmanor. They taught us all about how our bodies use energy and helped us carry out an experiment, creating a battery circuit and measuring the energy in a variety of liquids. We also took part in a ‘pain’ experiment where we had to hold our hands in icy water, then try again with music to see if it helped to distract us from the cold! We really enjoyed this science experience.
