The Lightbox Project
Primary 4/5 had an amazing time at The Lightbox Project which was a technology exhibit at the venue SWG3.
They explored lots of different fun technology stations that included: Kinetic sand, Oculus, Minecraft, Kodu, Circuits, a 3D printer and lots more.
It was a brilliant day!
Thistle Mountain Village
Thistle Mountain Village is taking shape in primary 4/5! Next week the villagers will move into the village. Primary 4/5 can’t wait.
Thistle Mountain Village
Primary 4/5 are creating Thistle Mountain Village in their classroom. They have made a mountain chair lift, houses, trees and more; the village is really taking shape!

A Special Visitor
A piper visited our assembly this morning. She played Scotland the Brave and other songs. She was fantastic at playing the bagpipes. We felt amazed and inspired.
Scottish Assembly
Glenboig Primary took part in a Scottish Assembly this afternoon. All the classes performed Scottish songs. Everyone performed fantastically, it was nerve racking taking part but great fun.

Great Scots
Primary 4/5 have been learning about Great Scots in their Scotland topic. They even designed some Charles Rennie Mackintosh inspired artwork. They have created fact files and researched Great Scots such as: Mary Queen of Scots, John Logie Baird, Robert Burns & more!
Glenboig Christmas Show and Nativity
Today was dress rehearsal day … and our children, as always did us proud! They remembered all their lines, sang their hearts out with lots of actions and smiled all the way through both the P4-7 Christmas Show and the P1-3 Nativity!
Fantastic performance boys and girls … I know that all your mums, dads, grandparents and carers are just going to love the show tomorrow!
I hope you have your tickets – it’s going to be a full house!
Mary & Joseph visit P4/5
Mary and Joseph joined Glenboig Primary for a whole school assembly and then spent the day with P4/5. Miss Gilmour kept everyone very busy learning.
