Thistle Mountain Rights Respecting Assembly
P4/5 shared their learning about children’s rights through ‘The Giant of Thistle Mountain’ global storyline. Their assembly to the whole school, parents and carers was such a great success that they won the coveted best village competition. So they had a party to celebrate!

All Glenboig pupils started ‘The Daily Mile’ today.

Building Houses
Inspired by the True Story of the Three Little Pigs, P4/5 have been building houses made from straw, sticks and bricks. I wonder what house will survive a Big Bad Wolf sneeze.
Beatson Design a Mascot Competition

The Lightbox Project
Primary 4/5 had an amazing time at The Lightbox Project which was a technology exhibit at the venue SWG3.
They explored lots of different fun technology stations that included: Kinetic sand, Oculus, Minecraft, Kodu, Circuits, a 3D printer and lots more.
It was a brilliant day!
Thistle Mountain Village
Thistle Mountain Village is taking shape in primary 4/5! Next week the villagers will move into the village. Primary 4/5 can’t wait.
Thistle Mountain Village
Primary 4/5 are creating Thistle Mountain Village in their classroom. They have made a mountain chair lift, houses, trees and more; the village is really taking shape!
Great Scots
Primary 4/5 have been learning about Great Scots in their Scotland topic. They even designed some Charles Rennie Mackintosh inspired artwork. They have created fact files and researched Great Scots such as: Mary Queen of Scots, John Logie Baird, Robert Burns & more!
