Following a meeting with ASN HTs yesterday I can confirm that as a result of Scottish Government guidance,P1-3 will attend full timefrom Monday 22nd Feb. Where this is good news for our Infant pupils it unfortunately impacts on our ability to continue to deliver the plan we had put in place for all pupils, particularly our P4-7s.

As the only ASN school to offer face to face teaching to all pupils since January we are aware how upsetting this will be for some children and families. I have discussed at length with Senior Education Managers,concerns around equity for ALL our children and their families at this time and the consequences of this decision on our P4-7 group.

We are in discussion with NLC about the possibility of trying to offer some face to face teaching for P4-7 from next week however this must be balanced against the total numbers in the building and the safety of all.

We look forward to welcoming P1-3 pupils on Monday and will be in touch with P4-7 families to discuss our plan moving forward.
