Guten tag! Every Thursday afternoon we work with Mrs Allan for German. Most of us didn’t know any words in German but knew a little bit about the country.
In the first week we found out how to greet one another. Then we went on to saying our name. This meant we could have conversations in german with our peers.
We have just started learning the alphabet in german. We are finding this tricky but we know with practise we will get better.
How exciting! I remember learning German when I was in P6. I cannot wait to hear you using some German words and phrases!
It’s a long time since I did German at school, but I remember a little –
Guten tag. Wie ist Sie? Ich bin zehn Jahre alt.
I wonder if you could record yourself saying German and add it to your blog?
I must come down one week and hear you. Hmmm Mrs McIntyre I’m really not sure you are!!!
Danke Schon P6
I don’t know any German P6 so you could teach me a couple of phrases I’m sure.
Primary 3 think this sounds hard, but we would love to hear some of your german.
