Sorry for the long wait.

Blogging from Charlie…

Hi there. Sorry we have not been posting for a while so I will tell you what has been happening in Primary 6 since.  First I will tell you about Scottish afternoon.  In primary 6 we sang two songs and we said two poems.  We said the Sair Finger by Walter Wingate and the whole class said it and we did Paper Kate also by Walter Wingate.  There was 10 versus in it so two people said one verse and the last verse 3 people said it.  We also sang to popular Scottish songs.  We sang Caledonia by Dougie McLean and the famous song Loch Lomond.  My favourite was Caledonia.  It was fun and I was very nervous especially for Paper Kate.

We have started a new topic.  We started the Scottish Parliament.  We are all excited about what we are going to learn.

Yesterday we went to Chryston High School to start drama with the drama teacher.  Her name is Miss Boyne.  Yesterday we just played some games like a game called splat.  We also played a funny game that we had to use our imagination with.  We got into a circle and we had to go around and we were only allowed to say one word.  We had to try and make a story working together.  They did not make much sense.  On the last week we are going to get to peform our work to the teachers and the rest of the class.

In PE we have been doing circuit training.  Every week we have a theme.  We have did Stamina, Ball Skills, Muscular Endurance, and Balance.  My favourite is the ball skills.

We will post some photos shortly but I am on my iPad and they are on the class computer!

  1. I know it has been a while since you have blogged, but you have been extremely busy. Drama at the high school sounds like fun. My favourite item at the Scottish afternoon was Caledonia too.

  2. You may not have blogged for a while, but ou have been so busy. I really enjoyed you singing Caledonia and seeing all the things you’d miss about Scotland that you had drawn on your ipad.
