We have been back for about 2 weeks and we have been very, very busy.
IDL : Our IDL is about a Famous Scottish person, we have been looking at Dr. Henry Faulds. He was born in 1843. Dr Henry Fauld’s wife was called Bella Faulds and he died at the age of 87. He discovered that everyones finger print is different and unique.
Literacy : In Literacy we have new class books. The Big bad bananas are now reading ‘The Boy who had Everything.” The Monster Minions are reading, “Muffin gets trapped” and the Doctors are reading about ‘Baked Beans’. As well as this we have also been learning about Julia Donaldson books, like, ‘The Gruffalo’ and ‘Gruffalo’s Child”
Numeracy : In Numeracy we have been learning about money. Using coins and the value of the coins and how much change we would give.
Health and Wellbeing : In Health and Wellbeing, we have been learning old Scottish games, such as Elastics, balls and skipping. We’ve been having such a wonderful time, thanks for reading & please leave comments.
