So the easiest way to do it is ask the question:
Wie spät ist es? What is the time?
As long as the clock shows an hour eg three O’clock, the answer is:
Es ist drei Uhr. It is three O’clock.
Germans use a twenty four hour system..but we are only going up to midday at the moment! Have fun!
What a great way to link your learning – German and Maths – through time!
Fantastic work girls and boys, now I can count to twelve in German.
