Our Assembly

Finally we have had our assembly.  It went brilliantly well.  We all felt amazing, although a little nervous.

It was about famous Scots, but it was about much more than that.  We showed our fingerprints and explained that our fingerprints are all different and unique.  We showed our Dr. Henry Faulds posters.

We showed our learning about Julia Donaldson, all about her famous books.  We all like them and showed our graph work.

We loved showing off our skipping and elastic skills.  We sang the songs that people used to sing for the skipping and elastics.  As well as this the whole class did the Virginia Reel dance, which was a lot of fun.  Elliot loved dancing with Mrs Cornwell!

We had also made a video with Mrs Cornwell showing our cooking skills, making healthy snacks independently.  We enjoyed making, eating and watching the video.

Lastly we had fun and performed our song, “The Poor Wee Grufallaw”. our song sang in Scots.

We had a fantastic time and experience & did an amazing job.
