In our new term we are going to be very busy. We will be learning lots this term and we will have an extra teacher in class, she is called Miss Lawson and will be with us from the beginning of January until the middle of March.
In Language we are going to be learning some poems, songs and stories about Robert Burns. We will be learning to improve our Grammar skills and learning three new phonemes to help us read and spell harder words.
In Maths we are going to be learning all about symmetry and to get better at multiplying, our tables and to continue to work hard in our sums.
We are going to be learning all about Robert Burns; all about Myths and Legends from Scotland; and learning all about footwear. We will be making our own shoes in a topic called Soft Shoe Shuffle.
We will be getting extra lessons at PE time. We will have a tutor come into school to teach us about Badminton and will continue to look at our health. We will be making food this term, this will be part of our Scottish Month and we will be making some delicious Scottish foods.
We are looking forward to giving our class Assembly, this will be on the 25th Jan, which is the birthday of Robert Burns and we will use Burns as our subject. Come along to hear all about the most famous Scotsman ever.
