P3 had our first proper rehearsal today with P3/4 in front of Mrs Bokas and Mrs McIntyre. I hope they were pleased because P3 have been working very hard and I think they made a marvellous job!
We still have to practise some of the lines in “I Wish It Could Be Christmas”: it is the last line of each of the verses (just before they sing “Oh I wish it could be Christmas everyday..”
- Don’t you lock the doors, you know that sweet Santa Claus is on the way
- So we’ll lie by the fire till the sleet simply knocks ’em all away
- I’ll sign my name on the rooftop in the snow then he may decide to stay
These are the trickiest in the whole song because of how quickly Wizzard sings it, which makes it hard for us to sing along clearly!
Keep practising P3 because the rest of it sounds AMAZING and is making me feel in the Christmas spirit!
