Our Class Trip.

Today we visited the G.O.M.A in Glasgow for our class trip. A lady called Annette taught us about the different exhibitions on display and let us create some of our own art. We even had lunch in the sun at George Square! Big thanks to our parent helpers. Here are some pictures plus our favourite parts and things we learned about:

Millie – We learned how to print.

Lilly – We made candies from shapes that we saw and went round the galleries.

Amelie – I liked doing the printing and the modern art museum is in the city centre of Glasgow.

Jessica – I liked learning how to print and we made shapes for our lollipop sticks.

Harrison – We coloured in soup cans like Andy Warhol.

Katie – We designed our own soup cans – mines was Super Soup with Super Taste!

Sonny – I liked when we were split up into our groups and went around the G.O.M.A.

Callan – I liked when we were making the sweeties on the sticks.

Erika – I liked when I made a picture for the wall and making the sweeties.

Lucy – I liked when we sketched things. I sketched a fairy house.

Lewis – I liked it when we went to George Square and I was feeding the pigeons and they all came flying down. Miss McPhee got scared because she doesn’t like birds!

Jack S – I liked it when I chased the birds in George Square.

Jack C – I learned how to make candy floss with paper.

Alaina – I liked sketching a painting. It was the elephant painting and I drew the flowers with hummingbirds.

Blake – My favourite part was chasing the birds away in George Square.

Leah- I liked doing the printmaking. I did two different designs.

Zara – I liked eating my lunch in George Square and scaring the pigeons away.

Iona -I liked sketching the different artwork in the gallery.

Eilidh – I liked when I did the sketching because I sketched the big sweetie tin.

Aaron – I enjoyed everything! But I really liked the buildings in the dark room.

Cole – I liked seeing everything in the G.O.M.A!

Kobi – I learned about Eduardo Paolozzi.

Zak – I designed Electric Soup!
