Our very first post. Hello and Welcome.

This is our first of our weekly post.  We will use this Blog to post and share with you some of our leaning and creations.  We hope you enjoy reading about how we are getting on.

In maths we have been learning about 3d objects.  We used cocktail sticks and blu-tac to make skeletons.  We found it tricky to keep some of the shapes together.  Triangular prisms and cubes kept their shape.  We used these skeletons to help us learn about the number of edges and corners in each shape.

We took some photo’s of ourselves in photo booth, which we really enjoyed.  We  then saved these onto the computer, then we tried to put these pictures onto a word document.

Some of us brought in toys with moving parts, and we worked in our groups to look very closely at these toys.   We then compared these to Galimoto toys and could see how different toys really are.

In PE we created gymnastics sequences on the floor and used the big horse and little horse.  We used these to learn how to learn about moving safely.

If you want to know more about about the work we’ve done this week feel free to reply by posting comments to us.
