Science Experiment

Primary 2 have been reading ‘The Magic Porridge Pot’. In the story the porridge overflows and floods the entire town!

We were interested in things that overflow, so we decided to try a science experiment! We used vinegar, bicarbonate soda, fairy liquid and food colouring to create a liquid which bubbled up and overflowed!

We discovered the more bicarbonate soda we added the more the liquid bubbled and expanded!

We wrote about what happened during the experiment and drew some pictures!
