Art & Design in S4-S6 allows pupils to embark on National Courses at a level that challenges the skills and abilities that pupils have experienced and gained in the Broad General Education phase from S1 to S3. The department offers courses that cater for pupil personalisation at the levels shown below.
The National Qualifications in Art and Design provide pupils with a broad, practical experience of art and design practice and related critical activities.
Pupils develop practical skills as they explore how to visually represent and communicate their thoughts and ideas through their work, and study the works of artists and designers.
