Primary 6 2016/2017
Primary 6 are delighted to be back and enjoying being one the first class to experience our new Modular Units. We are loving the space and all of our new tables and chairs. We have settled in very well and are already working very hard.
Keep checking in on us and leave us lots of comments throughout the year to let us know what you think about our learning!
The Human Body
We have been learning some really good things about our body recently and we now know lots about our skeleton and muscles. We have also been focusing on how puberty affects and changes our bodies.
I have attached a link to a website which is really useful for the children to explore themselves and also for parents to use alongside your child.

Cooking Week – Vegetable Spring Rolls
We had another very successful lesson for cooking week and we made Vegetable Spring Rols. We practiced our grating skills and bridge and claw cuts. We also learned to stir-fry vegetables and roll filo pastry. We were all really impressed with how they turned out and some of us even enjoyed the taste!!

Look at the fabulous weather we are having! Take advantage of this and take your learning outside. Write about the fun ways you have found to practise your spelling words and email me some photos if possible to add to our blog!! Have fun, (remember your suncream!).
