We had great fun today at the sponsored Zumbathon. We were exhausted by the end but we had a great work out! Thank you for sponsoring this event.

We had a magic morning with Magic Den.

We investigated which materials would work best as an insulator.   We wrapped one cup with various materials and left the other without.  We had to measure the temperature of the water at the beginning, and again after 10 minutes.  All of the insulated cups had warmer water at the end – tin foil was the best insulator!

We mummified some dolls.  We wrapped them in wet toilet roll, let them dry and then bandaged them! We even included amulets!

Our class now looks like the entrance to a tomb!

We hope that the mummies stay inside the class!
