Pupils who have demonstrated consistently that they are working beyond level 4 Mathematics are given the opportunity to sit an end of year exam in May of their Third Year.
This exam is in two parts, part 1 is non-calculator and part 2 permits the use of a calculator. Pupils get the experience of sitting an exam in the assembly hall for the first time as well as tackling an assessment that covers a much larger volume of content.
