Target Setting and Feedback Sheets have been sent home with all S1 and S2 pupils following the recent block assessments.
The tear off slip should be returned to the class teacher by Wednesday 28th November.
S2 Block Assessments
The next S2 Block Assessments will take place the week beginning 5th November.
Assessment feedback sheets will follow this and will be sent home with your son/daughter.
S1 Block Assessments
S1 Block Assessments will take place in class next week.
Maths Week Scotland
We have been celebrating Maths Week Scotland this week.
Pupils have been participating in team problem solving challenges including Bowland Maths and Maths wi Nae Borders. Some of our S3 classes have been learning how the Egyptians, Greeks and Romans have influenced maths and some of our local P7s took part in our Practical Maths Challenge looking at problem solving, tolerance and measure whilst building mini football tables with jelly baby players.
Our S2s have had fun participating in the National Sumdog contest. Well done to all pupils who took part! Braidhurst’s top 5 pupils, pictured below, are Chloe McKenzie, Marshall Lennox, Robbie Kennedy, Emily Dougan and Katie Morrison.
SumDog National Contest
The SumDog National Contest has now officially started ahead of Maths Week Scotland next week.

Return of Textbooks

All textbooks should be returned to your teacher no later than Wednesday 27th June.

SumDog Competition Winners
Our S1-3 pupils took part in the North Lanarkshire SumDog Competition.
Our top students were Ellie Anderson (S2), Jay Goode (S2) and Andrew Bett (S1).
Well done to all pupils who took part!
S2 Assessments
Due to the adverse weather conditions all S2 Assessments have been postponed until next week. You may be able to contact your teacher for help via glow during the school closure days.
NLC Sumdog Competition
We are taking part in the NLC Sumdog Competition from 9th – 15th March.
All S1-3 classes are invited to take part.
