A huge congratulations to Amie and Nadine for completing their food hygiene and health and safety course from The Royal Environments Health Institute of Scotland. The girls have been working very hard at the work placement at Windmill Cafe to achieve the certificates.

Welcome Back
Welcome back to all after our Spring Break, we hope you are all rested and looking forward to the final session of this year. It will be a very busy term as usual and there are a few important diary dates to remind you of :-

Mother’s Day Presents
The Orange Group enjoyed making some soap for mums for Mother’s Day. We used some Rose scent to make them a lovely smell and a pink colouring!
World Down Syndrome Day UPDATE
We are proud to announce that our grand total raised was £339! Thank you all so much for your support!
World Book Day
Some of the pupils from the Orange group enjoyed our recent Interactive story telling as part of some of our activities to celebrate World Book Day!
The end of our golfing block
The yellow group have successfully completed a 6 week block of Golf at Lochview Family Golf Centre.
The pupils have learned new skills and had great fun!
Each pupil received a well deserved medal for their hard work and new skills learned.
Well done!!!!!

Outdoor Learning
The Red Group (S1-3) have started their outdoor education learning block. We have been exploring nature and the great outdoors! Each week we are collecting items from our adventures to help us
remember the fun and learning!
Valentine’s Disco
Mark, Nathan, Jack, Adam, Gordon and Aimie would like to thank their friends at Firpark Secondary for the great Valentine’s Disco they held on Thursday. The music was great and the dance floor was full all night! In addition to ourselves and Firpark there were pupils from Glencryan High School and Lanark Grammar so it was a great opportunity to meet new people!
