This week we had fun learning about the day of the dead in Mexico and made clay masks!

We enjoyed some maths activities!

The Blue group have been working super hard on their “Titanic Topic” which encompasses the full curriculum. The desk tidies highlight our Design and Technology work, numeracy and literacy.

Pupils from the yellow group were having a relaxing time in the Looking Good Room.

The first week of our Trampolining Club was a great success.  All of the pupils who took part had a great time and we were very impressed with how well they listened to Hannah and the other staff who were helping out.  This is the first time an afterschool club has  run at Bothwellpark and we really want to thank all the staff who are making it possible.  As you can see from the photos below everyone did really well on the trampolines…even Mrs Neil!

It is great to see everyone back and hear all the stories of snowmen and snowball fights!

SCHOOL IS EXPECTED TO OPEN AS NORMAL ON MONDAY 5TH MARCH.  THE FOLLOWING WAS POSTED ON THE NLC TWITTER ACCOUNT.

Due to the ongoing severe weather and the amber weather warning in place Bothwellpark, along with all North Lanarkshire schools and nurseries, will remain CLOSED tomorrow.

Bothwellpark will remain closed tomorrow as the council has issued the following statement.

Due to the severe weather warnings all North Lanarkshire Council schools will be closed tomorrow Thursday 1 March 2018.

We will update you here tomorrow as soon as we know of plans for Friday.
