We have has the opportunity to travel to Glasgow Royal Concert Hall to watch some live music at Celtic Connections. We all had a great time and are already looking forward to next year!

Friday Clubs – Music Makers
Music makers got to try playing a cello on Friday…everyone was fantastic and managed to make a sound!
Horticulture with Brian
Some of the orange group were planting seeds with Brian last week. We planted lots of different herbs, spinach, radish and carrots.
We will have to keep them watered and are thinking about different recipes we can make when they have grown.
Pumpkin Carving in the Orange Group
The orange group had a great afternoon designing and cutting out our spooky pumpkins! We are all really looking forward to the Halloween disco on Tuesday!

Day 2 in Badaguish
We have enjoyed another brilliant day in Badaguish.
We were at the Highland Wildlife Park this morning and everyone enjoyed visiting the different animals.
This afternoon we were all feeling brave and played archery in the woods – it was amazing and everyone had a fantastic time.
We are all looking forward to tomorrow’s adventures!

We have all arrived safe and sound to Badaguish in Aviemore!
We were on the funicular railway this afternoon and enjoyed a hot chocolate at the top of the Cairngorm Mountains!

Prom
Thursday was a busy day for the senior pupils – in the evening we had a wonderful Prom at Motherwell Civic.
I’m sure you will agree that everyone looked beautiful in their suits/dresses!
It was a great evening with lots of food, fun, laughing, music and dancing
Outdoor Learning Day with the Orange Group
Thursday 18th May 2017 was a national ‘Outdoor Learning Day.’
The seniors went out in the morning to buy some plant pots, soil and plants to put at the front of the school. In the afternoon we were able to get outside and plant everything into our new pots…we even had enough plants/soil to re-do two hanging baskets at the front door.
Well done to everyone the plants look great!
Bothwellpark on Beechgrove Garden
Just a reminder that some of our senior boys are appearing on the Beechgrove Garden on BBC2 at 7pm this Thursday (11th) and the following Thursday (18th)
We are looking forward to seeing the boys on the TV!
