Yorkhill Children’s Charity
The Green Group decided that for a Christmas Enterprise project they would donate some toys to Yorkhill Children’s Charity to be distributed to children in hospital over Christmas. After collecting the toys the Green Group delivered them to the new Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow where the charity volunteers gratefully accepted the donations saying they would make sure they went to deserving children. Thank you to all of you who donated to this great cause.
Christmas Surprise!
This morning we all came in to a great Christmas surprise as Mrs Neil has organised an outing for us all to Rosebank Garden Centre for a festive snack and a visit to Santa’s Grotto. The big man himself even put in a special appearance! All our pupils were excellent ambassadors for the school displaying great behaviours and really enjoyed their morning! Thanks must also go to all of the staff at Rosebank who made us all feel so welcome! We would thoroughly recommend a visit there if you are looking for something festive to do over the next few weeks.
Christmas Lunch at Firpark High School
The staff and pupils had a wonderful Christmas lunch at Firpark High School today.
We would like to say a big thank you to the staff and pupils who prepared and served us a delicious lunch.

Christmas Firpark Lunch
As usual year on year the Firpark Christmas Lunch was fantastic. The service and food was in line with Michelin Star Restaurants.
Pupils and staff had an amazing time and left with full belly’s.

Eco Schools
We are proud to say that we have once again retained our Eco-Schools Green Flag Status for another two years. Big thanks go to Julie who gathered and submitted all the evidence for us and of course well done to all the pupils who did the work. Next year Kay is going to maintain the standard in her Outdoor Learning classes and we may even begin working towards the next stage of the award.
Carol Singing
We had a great day at East Kilbride Shopping Centre on 7th December Carol Singing to raise money for Ronald McDonald House. This was the first year we had taken part in this and all the pupils who attended as part of our choir did a great job, we are very proud of them! It was a great afternoon and got us even more into the festive spirit!
