We have been learning about food.

We were exploring the uncooked rice emptying and filling cups and container. One child said they liked to eat rice so we took some and cooked it in the microwave to discover the differences between uncooked and cooked rice. We had a discussion about how it looked and how it felt some children said sticky, soft and white.

Early Literacy skills

We have been taking part in a variety of experiences to develop our literacy skills. Looking and listening to stories, sharing our own thoughts and experiences. Using pictures to talk about and recall The Nativity Story. Looking at words and discussing where the first letter is and overwriting letters.
