P1/2/3 had a great time learning outdoors today, despite the rainy weather. In fact, the rain actually helped us with our learning! We had to build a shelter to protect us from the elements. And we even used the wet weather to create some awesome rain paintings! We used our team work and communication skills to build a giant outdoor marble run and in the afternoon we explored what happens when the ink from felt tip pens gets wet. We all had lots of fun as you’ll see in the video of our day!

Collage Art
As part of their topic work, the Banton Bairns have been exploring art using collage. We used natural materials that we gathered in our school garden to create our own garden pictures. Check out our amazing artwork in our video below!
