Grand Banton Park Opening!
Yesterday, we went to the Banton Park for the official opening. The Primary 7’s and Grace went to the park.
We were met by:
Provost Jean Jones
Councillor Heather Brannan-McVey
Colin Bruce, NLC Community Partnership Team
Catherine Moneypenny, Banton Park Committee
Shona Smith, Banton Park Committee.
Heather Brannan-McVey talked to us about how the Park wasn’t safe and they had to take it away and they said they might as well make a new one for everyone to enjoy. The banton Park committee helped us organise it. They also talked to us about the poster competition Which Jonah Kane won by 1 point! His picture will be part of the park on a giant board.
