P7 Superheroes Day

Primary 7 had a fantastic time at the ‘Superheroes’ event hosted by the Science Department at Uddingston Grammar School. Teachers were dressed up as various superheroes and the children visited different classes to carry out some exciting experiments! Here they are hard at work!

P2 Chris Bennett – Athlete Visit

P2 loved having a Scottish athlete who has competed at Olympic level come visit the school yesterday .  He told us about competing in Hammer Throwing,  how often he has to train and the foods he needs to eat to perform at his best.  The whole school got to take part in fitness stations and P2 loved the challenge!

JRSO Competition

Here are the children receiving their prizes for the Junior Road Safety competition. The children had to design an outfit that would help them be seen on dark mornings and nights during the winter. Well done to everyone who entered and thank you to Lucy, Macey and Mrs Maitland for organising the competition. Sarah from P4 and Reece from P5 were also winners and will receive their prize next week

Christmas Jumper Day/ Dress down day

There will be a Christmas Jumper Day on Friday 22nd December.  Children can leave their uniform at home and come to school looking festive.  Please do not feel like you need to go out and buy a Christmas Jumper, children can wear anything with a Christmas theme or just dress down.  There is no donation required, it is just for fun!

Christmas Fayre

Thank you to everyone who visited and helped out at the Christmas Fayre.  It was a fantastic evening!  The Parent Council raised an amazing £1200.  In the new year we will discuss how this money can be spent to best support the children.

Christmas Fayre

Our Christmas Fayre is tonight from 6pm to 8pm.  Come along to Hook a Bag, make a reindeer Goody Bag and pull a Christmas Cracker to win a prize.  Or try your luck at the Chocolate Tombola, Tinsel pull and guess the number of sweets.  There is a Game Station, a pocket money stall and a food stall with refreshments and hotdogs for when you need a rest.  Best of
