Primary 3 had a fantastic day celebrating World Book Day. We took part in a book scavenger hunt, played a guessing book character game, read our stories and listened to Mrs Devine read to us. Mrs Devine spoke about her favourite story, Oh the Places You’ll Go by Dr Seuss. It’s her favourite story as it inspires the reader to be who they want to be and make their own
Today was the end of our Famous Scots Interdisciplinary Learning Topic. Each co-operative learning group presented their Powerpoint presentations on a Famous Scot of their choice. The Powerpoints were outstanding. Each group managed to include some facts, photos and even used creative transitions between slides. We discussed who our favourite Famous Scots were and how they affected our lives and lives of others. Well done everyone!
Scott and Gemma attending the Glasgow Music Festival on Friday 16th March. They played the Young Virtuoso on their trumpets. It was a nerve-racking experience playing in front of an audience full of people in St Stephen’s church. However the nerves didn’t effect their playing as Scott came in first place and Gemma came third. Well done to them both. We are super proud of them and their achievements!!
Today the boys and girls had a great day dressed up as their favourite character from a book for our rescheduled World Book Day. See if you can guess who they are!Some children even came in their pyjamas and brought their favourite bedtime story! The children in Primary 1 enjoyed having a story read to them by their Primary 7 buddy. Thank you also to the parents who came in

The children had a great last night dancing away at the disco. Some great shapes were getting created on that dance floor! Here are the children having a rest to visit the tuck shop.
Today these children had to climb up four different parts of a high rock. They learned how to ensure their safety harness was secure and problem solve the best way to tackle each climb. They worked in partners and individually.
From novices skiers to flying down the slopes in an afternoon. A great time was had by all!!
