Macmillan Coffee Morning 2017

At the Macmillan Coffee Morning on the 21st September 2017 we raised £638.82. It was on from 09:30 – 11.30am.

There was lots of tables with cakes on them and a table for drinks and sweets. At the side there was two guessing posters: guess the spots and height of the cakes. It was very busy so that meant lots of money was raised and donated to Macmillan Cancer Research.

Our class helped by being runners, money collectors and cake sorters. The runners went through the school and brought children to the hall. The money collectors collected money at the entrance and the cake sorters filled up the empty plates and gave out cakes to customers.

Lots of people wet to the coffee morning and had a great time. Here are some comments from P6:

“It was really busy!” – Kyle Cop

“It was very packed, busy and fun to help.” – Rishi

“Cakes…cakes…cakes… Lots of CAKES. Mmmmmm!”  – Paul

“Everyone loved it!”  – Tamara              “Amazing cakes!”  – Caoimhe

“The coffee morning was fun!” – Gregor.
