We had such a busy week during maths week and found that maths is EVERYWHERE! The whole class worked hard to try and make different number sequences (some were really tricky that Miss MacLean had to think hard to figure them out!). Mrs Fleck had us challeneging ourselves to try and make multiple nets that would make a cube.
We also went outside to see what patterns we could find or make outdoors. The pictures show all the different ones we managed to find or make!
During Literacy we continued with our class novel – Kensuke’s Kingdom. We are getitng to the good parts and the whole class created an excellent visualiser with points that were specific to one of the main characters Kensuke. He’s a very mysterious character but I’m sure we will find out more about him.
Wednesday was photo day! We are gave our best smiles and can’t wait to see them…
In P.E we were working hard on our standing long jump and long jump, we found out that swinging our arms and bending our knees helped us to jump further!
What a busy week!!
It was real fun learning patterns in the playground
