Primary 6s visit to Chrytson High School

 

Today all the Primary 6 children went to CHS, it was a great morning. There was many subjects and lots of schools from round North Lanarkshire to see what high school life is like.

  • Jason done-drama, maths and ICT. I  learned about equivalent fractions in maths.
  • Gregor done-ICT, Humanities and science. I learned a new flammable material is lithium.
  • Jack done-ICT, social subjects and science. I learned how to use a Bunsen Burner.
  • Cate done-art, history and maths. I learned that WW1 was about Egyptians.
  • Fraser done-art, social studies and maths. I learned how to do something cool with oil pastels
  • Bethany done-art, social studies and maths. I learned about an alien space ship craft.
  • Dil done-ICT, social studies and maths. I learned how to animate a power point.
  • Greg done-art, history and maths. I learned that Dublin is Latin for Black.
  • Katie done-ICT, RME and science. I learned that when you burn magnesium to burns in a big white light.
  • Rudi done-art, music and social science. I learned hoe bright oil pastels can be in art.

After our first period we got to have an interval then we went to second period then after the second we had third period it was great fun meeting new teachers and we got to see our brothers and sisters and our cousins that go to CHS. It was great at CHS we can’t wait to go there next year.
