This week in Primary 6/7 we have been exploring more 2D shapes. The new shapes we focused on were shapes with curved edges – an ellipse, circle and semi circle.
We learned to use a compass to draw circles.
We can label a circle with the correct terms – diameter, radius, circumference, chord, sector and segment.
In Art we used oil pastels to recreate Concentric Circles by Kandinsky.
We used the following clip
In P3/4 we thought you knew a lot more than us about circles.
Bethany – We liked your work. Well Done!
Evan – your video was fantastic
Angus – I was astonished by your learning and loved the video.
Gregor – your art is fantastic, can we come and see it?
It looks like you all have been working very hard learning about these amazing circles. I was stunned at your artwork and liked the information a lot. I hope you enjoy your topic p6/7.
