Our week, 26 – 31.1.15

imageimagePrimary 6/7 have had another busy and excited week.  We all enjoyed a Burn’s Supper on Monday, where we tasted sone tasty Scottish food, haggis, needs & tatties.  It was fabulous, we invited Primary 7s through to our class to enjoy our Burn’s Supper.  Yasmin & Stephanie did the address to the haggis & then we all tucked in.

Our team came 5th at the Euro quiz, which is really well done, as the quiz is very difficult & they all put lots of time & effort into studying for it.  Well done to Ella, Ross & Kerry, you did us all proud.

We are making guides for finding the area of triangles & we’ve been working really hard at our division again this week.  We’re all starting to get the hang of it all now.

We had the best PE ever on Thursday, when we P7s went to do gymnastics in the High School, Primary 6s (and Sam) went out into the playground & played in the snow.  We split into 2 teams, girls vs boys & competed to build the tallest snowman.  The boys snowman was around 1M 3cm, whilst the girls used their imaginations and created a fabulous ice castle, measuring 1M.  We all had the best fun & it was brilliant.

  1. Another busy week in P6/7. I think my invite to your Burns Supper must have got lost? I enjoyed watching you build the tallest snowman. Sorry I couldn’t find a hat for him.

  2. I love the snowman building competition for PE!! It’s hard work building snowmen! Well done on making and crossing that metre height!!
