NSPS Nursery Blog

April 2015

This month started with our Daffodil Tea. Each group sang songs and we had lots of photographs up on a screen to show some of the things we do in nursery each day. Our audience had tea, coffee, biscuits and even some home-baking. They were also able to take home a lovely bunch of daffodils!

On our planning board in the foyer, one of the parents suggested we make some papier mache. What fun we had – it was a fantastic (and messy) experience! We love your ideas, so please feel free to pop these on a post it and stick it on the wall!

We have been developing our fine motor skills through experiences such as jigsaws and threading.

We have been encouraged to make decisions about how we are going to spend our day and have been making plans!

We have been focusing on nursery rhymes and having fun with rhyming sounds.

This photo shows car/star, phone/cone, plate/gate, box/fox!
