P6 has been doing angles for maths. For art we have been doing pointillism and we were inspired by Georges Suerat.

Primary 2 had a visit from Laura who works in Tesco. She came to teach them all about the harvesting of fruits and vegetables. They also found out about how they all grow. Primary 2 were allowed to try some of the fruits. Most of them tried things that they never tried before. Some of the children used to not like some of the fruits but now they do because they tried it.

P5 are learning about 2D shapes in maths so we used our knowledge to create a picture in the style of Kandinsky. We created this by choosing a selection of 2D shapes, we arranged them in a special way and drew round the shapes we chose. To put colour to it we shaded with coloured pencils. We even blended colours together to make interesting backgrounds.

P3/2 have been learning some new 2D shapes in maths. Here is a sneak peak at some of the work they did.

P1A have been very busy. They have been learning about “Percy The Park Keeper.” They have also been learning numbers to 10 and common words.

P4 have been very busy learning about Thomas Edison who invented the light bulb.
