After collecting lots of snails on our minibeast hunt on Thursday the children were keen to explore our little shell friends. Using sticker dots to identify the snails, the children creatively measured the distance that each snail travelled using string! Very impressive Primary 1! Primary 1 had a super morning on Thursday for ‘Outdoor ClassroomΒ Day’! First they had fun using chalk to creatively display the common words they have been learning πŸ–, then they went on a ‘Shape Hunt’ around the school grounds. πŸ”ΊπŸ”·βš«οΈπŸ‘πŸ».

We had a fantastic afternoon exploring the nearby woods on our mini beast hunt too! πŸŒπŸœπŸ•·πŸ
