My Aunty Amanda’s Fraction Tower.
I went to visit Aunty Amanda tonight. She showed me a really cool desk tidy she got as a gift for her new office. We practised different ways to make 1. You can see from my pictures that I learned different ways to make one. I like the top picture where you see all the different sizes but Aunty Amanda helped me make a few different combinations. I think my mum wants one now too!

We have been learning about fractions lately and I learned that if you cut 3 pieces of cake for a friend and there used to be 6 pieces of cake your numerator would be 3 and the denominator would be 6

Fractions are a part of maths that I am learning.I will give an example of a fraction like a pizza if you cut it into 3 and you take one ,then you have a third and if the other ones have the other two then they have two thirds.That is my presentation on fractions!

We are learining about Equivalent fractions but this week we were talking about finding a Qty of a fraction. I like doing this because I find it easy but sometimes challenging! I like learning new things especially in maths so this is really good fun for me. Mr Finnon please teach us more about fraction because I really really enjoy it! 😀

This week we were doing fractions such as a Qty of a fractions and a fraction of a shape I find fractions easy but also hard at the same time.I like finding the Qty of a fraction because it is harder than the other one so that is the one I like.I hope we do more in fractions and learn more things.Hope you enjoyed reading can we do more fractions if we can Thank you Mr Finnon.
